Golf Etiquette
- Avoid talking when other players are taking a shot
- Utilise call-up holes when appropriate
- Minimise practice swings
- Do not walk on the line of any players putt.

Care of the Course
- Replace all divots, cover them with sand and level it.
- Smooth out foot marks in bunkers. To obtain the best results walk backwards out of the bunker smoothing out the sand as you go. Always take the shortest route to your ball and retreat from the bunker by the same route. Do not walk up the face of the bunker. Return rakes to rake stands.
- If you have to mark the position of your ball on the green DO NOT disfigure the green with scratches. Use a small coin or some other form of loose marker.
- Never drop the flag stick on the green but place it down carefully.
- On reaching the green, repair any pitch marks especially if made by your ball pitching up on to the green.
- Do not retrieve the ball from the hole by using the club head.
- Members and guests are requested not to take their buggies onto or across the greens or tees. The club has instigated a blue line in front of golf greens, no buggies are to go within these areas.
- The playing of more than two balls in practice rounds on the course is not permitted.
- Members should not touch or otherwise interfere with watering equipment of any kind on the course. The rules of golf provide relief from watering equipment.
- Report any damage (accidental or deliberate) as soon as possible to club officials.
Grounds Staff
- It is essential that members and guests give way at all times to grounds staff. Wait until called through by grounds staff before proceeding.
Guests
Based on current course utilisation, the following guest guidelines have been adopted.
- A guest may play a maximum of 6 times per year. For clarification, a guest cannot play with a member 4 times per year, another member 3 times etc, as this would exceed the maximum 6 times per year.
- During social tee times (non-competition times), a Member may bring up to 3 guests. These bookings may be made when the timesheet is released, 8 days in advance.
- A Member may bring one guest during competition times on the following basis:
- A booking can only be made 72 hours from day of play to ensure all eligible Members have had the chance to make a booking.
- The guest must have a valid golf link number.
- The guest may play in the competition of the day, however, is not eligible for major events.
- The appropriate Members guest green fee and any applicable competition fee must be paid before hitting off.
- It is the Members responsibility to ensure that the guest is dressed appropriately for the golf course.
- Non-golfing guests must be signed into the club by the sponsoring member. If attending for clubhouse purposes only, the sign-in takes place at the various registers located at entry points.
Local Rules
- A summary of club local rules is printed on the reverse of the scorecard and should always be read in conjunction with the golf rules. Full details of local rules are available from the golf shop.
- Temporary local rules are invoked from time to time to provide for short term and abnormal situations. They are published on the notice board outside the golf shop. In particular, players should look out for notices concerning ground-under-repair.
- Where drop zones or special instructions are not provided, the golf rules apply.
- Social and trade-day players must observe all local rules.
- All penalty areas are marked with red stakes or red lines.
Mobile Telephones
- Mobile phones are allowed in all areas of the clubhouse.
- Calls should be made and taken in the club offices, golf shop, car parks, locker rooms and entrance foyer areas.
- Mobile phones are allowed on course but should be switched to silent.
