Lucien Tinkler

Teaching Professional at Box Hill Golf Club. He is AAA qualified and has been a professional golfer for 25 years with extensive tournament experience throughout Australasia, Asia, Canada and Europe from 1984 to 1998

Internationally, Lucien won the Czechoslovakian Open in 1982, was runner up inthe China Openand Quebec Open and was 3rd in the Korean Open in 1988 and competed in two British Opens. A winner of over 30 pro-ams in Australia, Lucien's best local finish was runner up to Nick Price in the 1989 South Australian Open. More recently, he has worked as a tournament referee for the Australian PGA Tour. His knowledge of golf rules, interest in golf psycology and his insight into the world of the touring professional provide him with a broad coaching perspective to complementhis teaching of swing mechanics. A naturally gifted player, Lucien nevertheless remains a keen follower of the latest trends in golf coaching to apply the most appropriate instruction for golfers of all abilities.
